A Han Dynasty Painted Pottery Attendant Figure
WESTERN HAN DYNASTY (206 BC – AD 8) This pottery model of a male attendant, or servant, stands with hands together under a robe. Note the presence of purpose-made hole above where the hands would be where a flag or weapon (?) would originally have been placed, and presumably made of wood, long since rotted away and lost. Painted terracotta 11.5 in. (29.21 cm.) height PRICE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
