A Rare Sancai Pottery Money Chest
20TH CENTURY The rectangular box is raised on bracket feet with floral studs simulating metal prototype, the sides reinforced with blue-glazed panels with crescent tops secured with further studs, and applied with sancai-glazed lion-masks, with a small hinge-lidded cover applied with a loop for the attachment of a lock, surrounded by stamped florette decoration on the top.
