A Tabayag (Bone Lime Container)
PHILIPPINES, CORDILLERAS REGION, IFUGAO CULTURE, EARLY 20TH CENTURY Carved from an animal bone with a human figure and a lizard, this specialty container was made to carry the slaked lime powder used during betel nut chewing.
