A Fikum Waist Ornament
BONTOC PEOPLE, NORTHERN LUZON, EARLY TO MID-20TH CENTURY The Fikum is a large engraved gold lipped oyster shell worn at the waist by esteemed warriors of the head hunting Bontoc tribe of the Northern Luzon, Philippines.
