FRANK WILLIAMS American (b. 1952) This is a watercolor study for a portrait of Andrew Wyeth’s studio in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. The studio, a repurposed schoolhouse originally built in 1875, was where many of Wyeth’s most important works of art were created. In the window can be seen a helmet or prop that belonged to his father, NC Wyeth. Drybrush watercolor on paper, 2017 14.5 x 19.5 in. (36.83 x 49.53 cm.)
